I am the oldest of six kids and three stepchildren. I have been baby-sitting and helping my mom with them since I was 11. I worked for a military family with three children, ages 4 (girl), 5 (boy), and 6 (boy), for a year and a half. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them, and they inspired me to become an early childhood development paraprofessional, which I hope to start in Spring of 2009. I have also watched two boys, ages 11 and 13, taking them to the bus stop, feeding them breakfast, and doing light household chores for the couple. I have a passion and dedication to child care. I am working on saving money to move into my own place with my husband of four months. I plan to start college in the spring of 2009. I hope to open my own day care and provide for many children, and I hope to guide them with the love and support I had. I have lost my first two children. I am trying again for my third and praying this one works out for us. That is why I want to become a nanny. I have experience driving in snow and ice, city driving, and driving in traffic. My driving record is clean with no past violations or accidents. I cannot swim (just started to learn). I am available to cook and do house work. I have experience with attention deficit disorder (ages 8 to 16) and experience with hyperactivity (ages 3 to 14).
